Something good to give the people you look after.
Good company, always there — that never costs them anything, and never sells them anything.
What Patrick is
Patrick is a confidant with a personality of his own. He listens, he remembers what someone tells him, and he comes back to it when it matters. He won't just agree for the sake of it, but he's good company, and he's there whenever the conversation is wanted.
He was built by a writer rather than an engineering team, which is most of why he sounds the way he does. He is not a therapist, and he doesn't pretend to be.
Where he fits
Most people will never book a counselling session. They still have things they need to say — often late, often small, often long before anything becomes a crisis. Patrick is there for those: the ordinary conversations that sit upstream of clinical help.
He sits alongside the support you already offer, not in place of it, and steps back the moment something needs a person.
How it works
Patrick is offered through the organisations that look after people — employers, wellbeing providers, and the services built around them. He can be embedded quietly inside what you already provide, under your own roof.
The person you give him to never pays, and is never sold to. That clean relationship is the whole point — it's what keeps them talking honestly.
What he isn't
He makes no promise to heal, fix, or treat, and he keeps no one talking for its own sake. He is non-clinical by design, and careful about it. If what you need is something regulated, Patrick isn't that — and we'll say so plainly.
